History of Cork Dance Studio
Cork Dance studio was founded in March 2008 as a space where dance in all its formats could flourish in Cork.
Founder Kathleen Farrelly had been teaching Salsa and Latin dances for several years in Cork and saw the need for a dedicated facility which could cater to the needs of the wider dance world in Cork. Having a purpose built facility allows Cork Dance Studio to offer a wide range of classes in many forms of dance as well as offering other dance organisations the opportunity to hire the studio for classes, events or as a rehearsal space.
Cork Dance Studio is a state-of-the-art purpose built dance studio located on the upper level of Penrose Wharf complex. It is the new home of Salsa Ireland and a resource for dancers and dance companies offering classes to the public.
